How to Split a PDF
- Upload Your PDF
Click the “Upload PDF” button to select the PDF file you want to split. If you mistakenly upload the wrong file, use the “Back” button to re-upload the correct one. - Select Split Options
After uploading, choose how you want to split the file. By default, a range of the pdf starting and pdf ending numbers will be given. If you want to split the pdf in more click on the add range then you will get the option to enter the new range. Here you can enter the new pdf page ranges.
For example if you want 2 to 4 pages of uploaded pdf as a new pdf then enter 2 and 4 in start and end range.
Once you’ve chosen your ranges, click the “Split PDF” button to process the file.
- Download the Split PDFs
After splitting, you’ll be redirected to a download page. Save the individual PDFs to your device. If needed, use the “Back” button to upload another file or adjust your settings.

How are the split files named in the ZIP archive?Each split file is named according to its range, for example: “split_1_pages_3-5.pdf” for pages 3 to 5. The numbering reflects the order of your defined ranges.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?No, password-protected or encrypted PDFs are not supported. Please remove any passwords before splitting.
